2 sticks Butter
3⁄4 c Sugar
3⁄4 c Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder
3 c Flour, approx.
1 c Semisweet Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Cream the butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add the
vanilla and eggs; mix well. Add the salt and baking powder. Add the flour 1⁄2 c at a time
until the dough is no longer sticky. Add the chocolate chips, mixing just enough to
incorporate them. Bake on greased cookie sheets until the edges start to look golden.
They will not look completely baked but they will be done. Allow to cool on wire racks.
Makes 2 – 3 dozen.
